| ‘Jegeg Bagus’ promote Bali Tourism |
Final of Jegeg Bagus that will be held on July 8, 2006, the elimination process have done during a month in all of regencies. All of Regencies sends a couple of Jegeg Bagus. There are nine couples will be elected to be Bali tourism representative. This event is aimed to produce the young generation who able to in global era with the cultural background,” stated Kadisparda Bali, Gede Nurjaya, on Monday.
According to him, the winner will become tourism representative to promote Bali tourism, moreover the qualification of this event is the ability of they knowledge in culture and Balinese tradition.
“Three qualification base that are intellectual, individuality, exquisiteness,” he stated. He stated, the juries that will evaluate this contest are the intellectual person. In next future we will improve this contest to Bali tourism promote,” he stated.
He added in this time there are 133 contestant followed this event such as Badung representative are Ni Putu Ari Suarmini and I Nyoman Artina Putra, Bangli are Putu Gian Aryanti and Putu Aditya Saputra, Buleleng are Ida Ayu Shintami Dewi and Kadek Agus Apriawan Putra, Denpasar are I Gusti Ayu Agung Istri Anteja and I Komang Adi Tusanjaya, Gianyar are Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini and I Gede Agus Jaya Sadguna, Jembrana are Ni Putu Diah Prasinthya Oktarini Dewi and I Komang Sutriadi Kelana P. N, Karangasem are I Gusti Ayu Agung Ari Ekayanti and Putu Satwika, Klungkung are Dewa Ayu Anom Indrayani and I Gede Andry Nicolas, and the last are Tabanan Luh Made Paramitha Sari and Andri Purwanta.
