Denpasar- The businessmen and exporter of Balinese crafts able to beat the potential market in Africa, with the commerce value and foreign exchange are stable enough although the economic condition is not recover yet.
The head of Industrial and Trade Bali, Drs IGN Sutedja, in Denpasar, Thursday, stated that, the realization of nonmigas export (non oil and gas) Bali to Africa during the first quarterly 2006 is US$ 1 million which was not different than period 2005. The good relationship between both countries, with the visited of Africa to Bali lately will make the entrepreneur are enthusiastic to doing business. Sutedja stated, the realization of Bali’s business to Africa during January 2006 reach $207.944, which increase until three percent become $ 214.062 in next month. During March reach $ 212.727, which down until 0,62 percent and on April reach $ 406.370 or increase until 91 percent. That expected in the last year can increase 5than 2005 which only $ 4,4 million.
“The passionate of export to Africa, is doing well of Bali government with Africa that want to increasing the economic relationship,” Nyoman Sudiana, the businessman and exporter kinds of Balinese crafts stated. Beside that, about five percent the members in South Africa are Indonesian people, which almost all from Makasar that are about one million person, which become the market of Balinese export.
He admitted, they has the problems to export their product to Africa, because of long distant and they also is not known yet about the trade character here, although Balinese businessmen has done the nonmigas export to Africa.[bisnis bali]
